Alterations Policy
At Tushika Online Tailor, our goal is to provide each client with a perfectly fitting blouse. However, we understand that minor adjustments may sometimes be needed for optimal comfort and appearance. Our Alterations Policy is designed to address these needs fairly and transparently. Please review the following terms to understand how our alterations process works.
1. Free Alterations for Tailoring Errors
1.1 Definition of Tailoring Errors
A tailoring error occurs when the finished blouse does not meet the original specifications you provided during the ordering process. Examples of tailoring errors include:
- Incorrect stitching or seam placement based on provided measurements.
- Incorrectly executed design details, such as sleeve length or neck shape.
If an error has occurred on our end, we will provide a free alteration to correct it. To request an alteration for a tailoring error, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
1.2 Conditions for Free Alterations
Free alterations for tailoring errors are only available if:
- The request is made within 7 days of delivery.
- The blouse is in its original condition and has not been worn, washed, or altered by anyone else.
- The issue directly results from a tailoring error based on the original specifications.
2. Customer-Initiated Alterations
2.1 Adjustments for Personal Preference
If you wish to alter your blouse to adjust the fit or style for personal preference reasons (e.g., tightening or loosening, changing sleeve length, or modifying neckline shape), we offer a range of custom alteration services for an additional fee. This applies even if measurements were accurately followed but adjustments are desired for a more personalized fit.
2.2 Alteration Fees
The cost for customer-initiated alterations varies based on the complexity of the requested changes. Our team can provide an estimate once we review your alteration request. Some examples of common adjustments and starting fees include:
- Neckline adjustments: Starting from ₹150
- Sleeve length changes: Starting from ₹200
- Body fit adjustments (tightening or loosening): Starting from ₹250
Our customer service team will provide a specific quote once we assess the alterations needed.
3. How to Request an Alteration
If you need an alteration, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Reach out to our customer support team via phone or email within 7 days of receiving your order.

- Provide Order Details: Include your order number, full name, and a detailed description of the alteration you require.
- Submit Photos (if applicable): Attach clear photos of the blouse and the areas that need alteration. This helps us better understand your request.
- Review Estimate: For customer-initiated alterations, our team will provide an estimate, and once agreed upon, arrange for pickup.
4. Alteration Timeline
Once your blouse is picked up, we aim to complete alterations within 7-10 business days. Some complex alterations may require additional time. We will keep you informed of any delays and provide an estimated completion date.
5. Conditions for Alteration Requests
For hygiene and quality assurance reasons, we can only accept alteration requests if:
- The blouse has not been worn outside of an initial fitting.
- The blouse has not been washed, dry-cleaned, or altered by anyone else.
- The alteration request is made within the timeframes specified in this policy.
6. Delivery and Fees
6.1 Pickup and Delivery
As a convenience to our customers, pickup and delivery are free for alterations within the areas we serve. We will arrange for a courier to collect your blouse at your doorstep and return it once alterations are completed.
6.2 Alteration Fees Payment
For customer-initiated alterations, payment for the agreed-upon alteration fee must be made before we begin work on the adjustments. Our customer support team will provide payment instructions and confirmation once your payment has been received.
7. No Alteration Guarantee for Inaccurate Measurements
To ensure a perfect fit, we recommend following our Measurement Guide when placing your order. If your blouse does not fit due to inaccurate measurements provided by you, we will still offer alteration services, but standard alteration fees will apply. We encourage you to double-check all measurements before submitting them to minimize the need for post-delivery alterations.
8. Limitations of Alterations
Please note that some alterations may not be possible due to fabric limitations or specific design features. Our tailoring team will do their best to accommodate your requests, but if an alteration cannot be made, we will notify you and discuss potential alternatives.
